Why I Recommend Investing In Yourself to Grow Your Business--Darnyelle A. Jervey

If I had a dime for every solo-preneur that has told me that they can’t afford to invest in themselves, I’d be a millionaire without ever selling a product. Sadly, many believe that making an investment in themselves is a liability when their business is not yielding a profit. On the contrary, I hold the belief that investing in yourself is what unblocks the client pipeline and sends a surge of ideal client prospects who are ready to buy at your virtual door. It is at those moments where your faith is activated and the result is growth that to many may seem unexplained.

I stood in the spot where you are standing and I can tell you that even as I wrote out that first check, I was scared. After all, there’s no guarantee that the return on my investment will be profit, right? While that is true, it is seldom the case. Why? Because of the law of circulation, also known as sowing and reaping. When you sow – by investing in yourself through the work of another, you’re telling God [Universe] that you want to experience the abundance that He has reserved for you. And, He brings it forth.

Think of the farming analogy. You want to raise a new crop, so you plant a seed. Before you plant the seed, you make sure the ground is fertile. Then you plant the seed, cover the seed with the fertile ground, water it and when you’re not watching, it sprouts and leads to a field full of your new crop.

Now, let’s transfer this analogy to your business. First you check the ground to make sure it is free of weeds and rocks – the ground is your mindset, your money consciousness and your desire to stop letting fear keep you from moving ahead as you would like. You do some personal work to break up the foul ground and prepare it to receive the good seed, so that the seed immediately takes root. So you get your ground right, and then you plant the seed. The seed is the person you hire – a coach, mentor, consultant, etc – who knows what you need to know and commits to helping you get it. And then you water the seed – you pay attention and implement what they give you to do because your mindset is one that is focused on productive, positive thoughts. And as you implement and take consistent action on the tasks outlined, you see the seed sprout and ultimately create a new crop – an increase in your business which comes in the form of new clients, new strategic partnerships, products, signature talks, etc. Why is investing a good way to grow your business?

1. You are your best asset. When you sharpen your iron, it makes you more potent in the market. You will be able to withstand those who aren’t being sharpened and grow your business.
2. School is never out for the pro. Successful entrepreneurs are constantly learning a new skill and improving the products and services and results they offer their clients.
3. It’s an activation of faith. Nothing says faith more than investing when money is not plentiful. It also helps to ensure that you are going to do what is necessary to yield the results. When you don’t have money to waste, you don’t waste it.
4. You tell God that you are ready for more. It’s almost like tithing – when you tithe to the people, places and organizations that inspire you and add value to your life, you naturally experience an increase. Investing is inviting more into your experience
5. No investment, no increase or as I’ve also heard it said – no risk, no reward. You can’t win the game if you don’t play in it.

I personally recommend that you make investing in yourself and your business a budget line item. As a rule of thumb, I encourage you to invest at least 10% in yourself over the course of the year. Those investments can be attending events, working privately with a coach or consultant, joining a mastermind, joining an organization or association or anything that could get you closer to your ideal clients. Once you invest, create a plan and implement what you learn. When you implement, you will be sure to reap a harvest that allows you to live a life that is in line with your desires.

Darnyelle’s Secrets to Success--Darnyelle A. Jervey

As a successful business owner who’s ran more than one 6 figure business, I am often called upon to share my secrets to success. While I appreciate the opportunity, the most important part of this task for me is helping others realize that they too, have secrets that have contributed to their success in life, business, relationships, etc.

1. Laugh as often as you can. Here’s what I know for sure, laughter really does make everything bearable. When you spend one minute in laughter, you boost your immune system for 24 hours! Life is too short to spend your time deteriorating your health with anger, doubt, worry or drama.
2. Surround yourself with positive, goal-oriented people. You become like the 5 people whom you spend the majority of your time with. Choose wisely. This has been a big deal maker for me. When you choose to associate only with people who understand your goals and add value, you will increase your network and ultimately your net worth.
3. Make non-negotiable decisions. It is so reassuring to know that your life is governed by decisions that are not negotiable. It’s a game changer to think about your existence on a level that always inspires greatness. When I stopped making excuses and started making non-negotiable decisions everything changed. From that first one at the young age of 8 that I was not a victim but a victor, to the one I will make tomorrow. I am committed to making decisions that move my life forward and help me to serve more people.
4. Create a life plan. When you create a plan for your life, it becomes easier to build a business or career that supports your ultimate goals and plans. This life plan is really more like a life description; it includes your lifestyle and what must be done to support it. It’s essential to get crystal clear on how you see your existence unfolding. Remember when you plan, you set in motion all that you desire to live your best life because that which you ask for must be given to you each and every time.
5. Uncover your talents and nurture them. It’s important that you take the time to “Inspect the Incredible” and truly uncover what you were created to offer this world. I chose uncover purposely, they are in you, often buried deep but they are already in you and as you uncover them, you will find the freedom and confidence to step out of the dark and into the light, inspiring others to do the same.
6. Remove mediocrity from your vocabulary. Because I believe that what we speak about we bring about, it is essential to remove those words that do not serve you from your mouth. Plain and simple, they have to go. And when they do, life will begin. The best thing I ever did for myself was to stop giving my past permission to speak.
7. Plan each day in advance. This one secret has changed my life and grown my business dramatically. Before the day ends, determine what you’re going to be working on tomorrow. You will step into your office refreshed and ready to take the day because no time is lost figuring out what to do next!
8. Spend at least 5 minutes in gratitude each day. It’s true that love, appreciation, trust and gratitude are abundance flowing emotions. The more time we spend experiencing them, the more abundance flows into our lives. In just five minutes a day, you can change the course of your life and business by being grateful for what you already have while expecting more to come into your life.
9. In business, know your numbers. If you are in business – your own or helping someone else grow theirs, there are numbers that are key to your success that you should always know. I believe that what gets attended to gets done so if you don’t attend to the key metrics that govern your business or position, sadly, you will miss them every time.
10. Love yourself, flaws and all. Find time to get to know who you are. When you learn to love yourself no matter what, your confidence will soar and you will become a magnet for more positive people into your life. The power that is exchanged when a person who loves themselves enters a room is magnetic and life changing. When you love yourself wholly and completely, you are free to serve out of your abundance. It is from your abundance that lives will be changed. It is also envious for those who don’t possess it. But, when you love yourself, you’ll be able to confidently articulate one of my favorite sayings based on one of my favorite books: What you think of me is none of my business!
Your turn: what would you say are your secrets to success? What 10 tenets govern everything you do? What, if given a chance, would you share with others to help them take steps today to protect their Incredible Factor? Write them down now and then make them a blog post, article or note on Facebook so that those who follow you can learn more about what makes you, the Incredible You.

5 Simple Strategies to Avoid the “Gaper Delay” in Your Business--Darnyelle A. Jervey

In case you’re wondering, yes, this is a business article about traffic. Well, it’s actually NOT about traffic; it’s more about how you, a creative entrepreneur, can get caught in traffic that is not beneficial to your business if you are not careful.

I admit I got the idea for this week’s article while driving on the I-90 heading toward Chicago. It was a mess, cars everywhere, going nowhere fast. Primarily because there was an accident on the other side that had nothing to do with us going toward the city, yet everyone was so busy seeing what happened that they couldn’t drive their car to their destination. It’s easy to get side tracked when you’re driving if you’re not clear about your ultimate destination.

See my point? Your business is suffering because you’re too busy seeing what’s going on with others in the marketplace that have nothing to do with you. Instead of picking a lane and staying in it and preparing for the journey ahead of you as you endeavor to attract ideal clients, you’re changing lanes to get a better look at what they are doing.

Focusing on what others are introducing to the marketplace has the potential to kill your business. Now, don’t get me wrong, knowing what your competitors are offering is important; however, you can’t be so focused on what they’re doing that you aren’t doing anything but watching them. I’ve seen it happen many times in my business of helping entrepreneurs unleash the Incredible Factor in their businesses. I ask one question, like what does your business do? And they respond with something like this, “you ever heard of X? Well, I’m just like them, I do the same thing,” instead of offering their own power statement, one that has them starting a trend as opposed to living in the shadow of their competitor.

When I hear that, quite honestly, I just shake my head, because they’ve been caught in the “Gapers Delay” syndrome – too busy watching others and not spending enough time building their own brand.

Hopefully, I’m not talking about you. But if I am, no worries, if you really want to avoid the effects of the Gapers Delay syndrome, I recommend that you:

1. Turn on your GPSYour GPS is your business and marketing plan. You know, that thing you wrote when you started your business (I hope you did anyway) Pull it back out, check your destination and let it tell you which turns to take. When you gain a clear vision of the transformation your products and services will provide for others, you will gain perspective and that perspective will lead to prospects. Deciding to start a business without a clear intention of who you are and what you will offer to others in service to solve their problems is one sure fire way to find yourself on the business roadway caught in a traffic jam.
2. Avoid hitchhikersoh, those pesky little distractions that appear out of nowhere. Sometimes they’re holding a sign; sometimes they are bold enough to stick their hands out. When you remove those hindrances that challenge your ability to be fully authentic about how YOU will serve your ideal clients, you can breathe and with each breath, you allow abundance to flow toward you and your business. It’s important to know when you drive your car and when to pull over and let traffic die down. Taking much needed time to retreat, with your team or advisors can make all the difference as you grow your business. Avoiding the bright shiny object syndrome is essential to becoming known for offering quality service to your market
3. Check the rearview mirror only momentarilymore often than not, a mindset shift can easily prevent road rage or an accident. I recommend that you watch what you feed your mind by putting quality information in. Look in your rearview mirror just long enough to assess that the way is clear. Focus instead on the open road ahead of you by creating daily mindset shifts that keep your breakthroughs consistent to the speed at which you desire to drive your car. Remember, your thoughts are equal to your feelings and beliefs which affect your actions and alter your results. If you believe that you are the only solution to your ideal client’s problems and work toward ensuring that they know you exist through effective and compelling marketing, you will be rolling down the freeway toward your ultimate destination.
4. Crank up your car radiowhile you are driving, to avoid the need to text or look away from the wheel outside of the occasional rearview mirror check, play your theme song loud and proud. In fact, if you don’t have a business theme song, get one immediately. It will stop you from focusing on what’s happening around you, you’ll be so into “rocking” it out for your clients, you’ll arrive at your choice destination easily and effortlessly
5. Create YOUR roadmapthis is your business; no one can do it like you. Your plan of action to grow your business is your roadmap – what to do and when to do it to achieve the results you crave. When you stop focusing on others and focus instead on your plan and do the work it will take to make it a reality, you will realize that who you are and what you were created to be is Incredible – in and of itself and truly no one else can hold a stop light to your brilliance. Focus on ways to achieve your plan through concerted effort daily, remembering that it is the little and not so little things that add up to the unassailable difference in your business.

Bonus:
let the wind blow through your hair. When you are driving, really driving toward your destination, clear and focused, you will breeze your way through. You’ll be able to relax in full authenticity because who you are is exactly what your ideal clients need to grow to their next level.

How to Manage and Maximize Your Business Relationships - Darnyelle A. Jervey

When busy entrepreneurs network without a system, they lose key prospects and strategic partners in the shuffle. Although all would agree that networking is essential to growing a small business; most would equally agree that following up can present a serious nightmare for those who are not prepared for the influx of contacts that can meet over the course of one week.

As a business coach who teaches one of the essential marketing streams for your business is networking, I have helped my clients to develop a systematic approach to managing new contacts so that they can maximize their relationships and keep Top Of Mind Awareness (TOMA)

Here are my tips and an assignment to help you do the same:

1. When you are meeting a prospect for the first time, be sure that when you’ve walked away from them to make notes on their business card. Doing so will help you later as you sift through all the cards you collected to determine who are ideal client prospects or potential strategic partners for your business.

2. Have stationary made with your company logo, tagline and contact information so it becomes effortless for you to send a quick hand written note to your prospect or new connection.

3. Make sure you make the first contact within 48 hours. This contact should be with a personal touch – meaning refrain from sending an email. Most people’s inbox is already overflowing with requests that seldom get reviewed. Your goal should be to stand out from the crowd and using a handwritten note, personal phone call (even if they don’t answer, leave a voice mail) or use video messaging to get and keep their attention while extending your reach in the TOMA category in their minds.

4. Within 2 weeks, you should be in touch with a hot connection again, this time to deepen that initial contact – with coffee, lunch, a conference call, or other type of meeting….you should be prepared, having done your due diligence. You should have fully researched their company and identified ways that you can help them based on your product and/or service as well as how they can help you (if a strategic partnership is the goal).

5. Your next touch point and each subsequent touch point should occur within 2 months. Perhaps you are just touching base with them via telephone or you send them an article that reminded them of a previous conversation the two of you entertained together. The point is, you want to remain on their radar so as soon as they develop the problem that you solve – or someone they know does, you are the only solution that comes to mind.

Your assignment:

Look through the business cards you collected last week and sort them in three categories:

1. Ideal prospect
2. Strategic partner
3. Not a good contact for me or anyone I know

Once sorted, prepare your follow up strategy by asking yourself the following questions:

1. How is this a good contact for me?
2. What do I have to offer this contact?
3. What does this contact have to offer me?
4. What follow up strategy will I use to stay connected to them?
5. How will I stand out from the crowd in my interactions with them?

Repeat until you have a full blown plan for each new contact for that week and do the same thing each week going forward.

It's cute but is it clear? - Darnyelle A. Jervey

Because I am a business and marketing coach and I work with entrepreneurs, who are by nature extremely creative people, I find that many of them get caught in what I've affectionately called the "cute syndrome." You know, cute little names for programs and services, a pretty website with lots of color and no content or call to actions that produce results and create income, catch phrases and buzz words and sometimes even jargon. The big challenge when you're stuck in the "cute syndrome" is that it is seldom clear and effective in getting your ideal clients to see you as the only solution to their problem, which after all is the reason we are all in business, right?

Once I explain to you what I explain to my private clients, they get it almost immediately. Cute doesn't attract clients, cute doesn't have money deposited into your checking account; cute seldom pays the bills. I assert don't be cute if clarity is the sacrifice.

To become a successful service based entrepreneur, you've got to move beyond cute and focus on clarity. People only take action when the next best step is crystal clear. To create an environment where your ideal clients can move easily and effortlessly through your prospect and sales funnel, you've got to get clear on the transformation you provide as well as the results and benefits they will experience in working with you and displaying it in a language that is compelling, engaging and action-oriented.

Here are a few quick questions/tips you should consider to ensure that your content, sales copy, programs, products and services are clear and not just cute:

1. When I visit your website, will I immediately be able to tell the transformation that I will experience if I opt to work with you?
Most first time visitors to your website will never look beyond the fold of your website so, your best stuff, the clarity of what you do must be laid out in a "power statement" making it obvious who you work with, how you solve their problem and the results they get from moment go. If you fail to do that, ideal client prospects will click away, never to return.

2. Is your marketing messaging and website content compelling, engaging and easy to read?
Again, don't be cute; be clear about your compelling marketing messages and case studies to illustrate what you do, how you do it and what others will gain when they hire you. To write compelling copy is essential if you want to allow your website to make you money while you sleep.

3. Do you have social proof to validate the transformation you claim to provide?
It's great that you say you can do something amazing for your clients. Really, it is. But who else is saying it? Are you previous clients singing your praises? are the signing up to work with you again after their program is complete? Do you have one page on your website designated to reflect success stories or testimonials?

4. Does your Incredible Factor (USP, HUG, secret sauce and signature move stand out)?
Your Incredible Factor is your unique selling proposition, value proposition, hot undeniable gift, secret sauce and signature move all rolled into one yummy client magnetic package. When a prospect lands on your website is it clear to them how you stand out in the marketplace or do they look at your pictures and whisper, "aaww, that's cute;" before they click away?

5. Are your call to actions clear, strategically placed so the prospect doesn't get lost of confused?
Do you clearly lay out a path for prospects to follow to get closer to working with you or do they need to poke around until they find that needle in your website's haystack?

6. Are your programs designed to make the results clear and are the next steps that should be taken clear and easy to follow?
Are you so focused on selling the contents of your programs that you never tell what participants have gained by being enrolled? Do you tell them what to do next if they'd like to enroll?

7. Do you have a way for them to sample your offerings that is irresistible?
An irresistible free offer is like the pink spoon at Baskin Robbins...it's just enough to entice them to buy the full size...do you have one that they'd do anything to have?

As you can see, cute doesn't pay off in the world of entrepreneurship. So take my advice - stop being cute and get clear.

If you desire to gain clarity so that your cute creates cash, contact me for a Play Big Strategy Session - in 60 minutes I will replace your cute with clear so that you become an ideal client magnet.

The Secret Millionaire and Your Incredible Factor - Darnyelle A. Jervey

Last night, I watched the premiere of the Secret Millionaire on ABC and it really moved me to tears. I applaud the creators of the show for finally creating a reality show that stirs the hearts of those of us who desire to serve the world in a big way with our Incredible Factor. I got extremely choked up as I watched Dani Johnson award the three organizations and a family where she was able to volunteer with a total of $100,000. I cried, "Man, that is why I get up in the morning and work hard - so that I can one day in the very near future give back with a financial gift to further the dream of another. I serve my clients so that I can serve the world. Man, that is so fulfilling and it makes me so grateful."

What I loved about each of the organizations visited by Dani is that each founder created their organization out of their passion and desire to be a blessing to others in their community. Make a note of this: Your passion can be your career and it is from your passion that lives will be changed, dreams born and hearts filled in abundance. That, dear friends is why I left corporate America in 2005. That is why I created Incredible One Enterprises in 2007.
I was watching the show with a friend and we agreed that this was exactly why we do what we do. Being a successful business person is little about the business person; it affords us the opportunity to serve the world and offer the fruits of our labor to help someone else live their dream.

I'm totally excited about this show and I look forward to watching each week so that the dreams that I have will be fueled by watching what others just like me have done first by owning their Incredible Factor, second by starting their own companies and living their passion and third by sharing their wealth to create abundance for another.

It's Cheaper to Keep Her - Low Cost Strategies to Retain Ideal Clients - Darnyelle A. Jervey

It's Cheaper to Keep Her - Low Cost Strategies to Retain Ideal Clients

It's one problem that everyone in business wants to be able to solve: how in the world do we build clients and customers for life without spending all we earn to keep them?

Perhaps you've never considered this insightful phrase relevant in business, but "it is cheaper to keep her." It's true; customer retention is still 4-5 times less expensive than securing a new client.

Okay, Darnyelle, that sounds good but how in the world do I do it? Well, first you must create a system. A Customer Relationship Management System that will allow you to keep in touch with all of your clients/customers even once they are done with your current program or after they purchased that stand alone product from your website.

By the way, yes I did say system. I told you, you need a system for EVERYTHING you do in your business - well, that is if you want to create wealth without creating a ton of more work.

I'm sure you've heard of TOMA - Top of Mind Awareness - if you haven't, take some notes. Without TOMA (which occurs when your clients remember that you exist and the purpose you serve in the marketplace), you will be constantly spinning your wheels in pursuit of your next set of clients. Now, as I have mentioned in the past, a good business person never stops marketing and ensures that they have establish a weekly marketing plan that accounts for 10-20 hours of their work week EVERY WEEK. Yes, I did say every week. If you don't learn how to stay in touch with your previous and current clients and customers in creative ways via your weekly marketing plan, you are leaving money on the table.

Most small business owners dread marketing because they ASSUME that it's going to cost all the money they have to grow their business. Well, that's not entirely true. Yes, marketing can cost money but there are several low cost solutions to creating TOMA which will allow you to build clients for life if you create a system that includes:

  1. Sporadic phone calls - each week, when I am completing my weekly marketing plan, I make a list of 2-3 clients - current or previous that I can call just to see how they are doing. I do not call them to sell them a product; I call them to show that I care for them. Note: If you create a client database and keep a list of birthdays and anniversaries, you can use this as the schedule to determine when you call. I still do this frequently and sometimes I am the only birthday wish a client receives. Talk about TOMA!
  2. Send a weekly e-zine - be sure that your e-zine is more about content that adds value and solves problems then pushing your latest and greatest product. Now, there is a balance to strike here because you also want to ensure that your clients know that you still can solve their problem with your products and services. It is not acceptable to send a monthly or quarterly e-zine, you must keep in touch with your clients on a weekly basis.
  3. Handwritten notes or cards - on that weekly marketing plan, be sure to list who's going to get a handwritten note from you that week. First of all, email IS overrated and many of your clients and prospects' mailboxes are flooded with messages that do not add value, so it is quite possible that they will miss your high-value, high content e-zine. To combat this, send handwritten notes. Make your goal to send at least 5 each week (just one per day). Use those who've purchased from you in the past, previous clients and hot prospects in this list and be sure to write a handwritten note to them. Trust me; it will make a big difference. Note: Create your own note card with your company logo and keep them on hand so you can keep your branding clear and succinct.
  4. Send all clients and customers a warm letter - this will let them know what you are up to and it can also serve as a way to get them to become brand ambassadors for you. When you remind them of what you do and who you work with (you can simply use the 30-second commercial formula I shared with you previously) and put it in writing, they can begin to refer people they know to you. These should go out every month if possible with a different theme or focus or minimally, every quarter. These should also go to family and friends. If they know exactly what you do, they'd refer people that are complaining of the problems you solve. You'd have more clients to add into your other systems and to serve with your Incredible Factor.
  5. Offer free tele-classes or training that highlights your ability to solve the problems of your ideal clients. No matter what you do, there is something that you can share via a tele-class that will help your clients and prospects see you as the solution. You want to again, offer high-value, high content, but you also want to ensure that you have a full resource available (some sort of solution) from your catalog of products and services that will allow them to learn more or completely solve the problems they are currently experiencing.

In today's marketplace, you have to stand out if you want to be seen as the ONLY solution to the problems of your ideal client. If you want to stand out, you need a system that allows you to remain TOMA with a low cost to you. Try these tips; let me know how they work for you.

5 Ways to Show Your Ideal Clients Some LOVE - Darnyelle A. Jervey

Entrepreneurs are extremely creative people and they typically love what they do. They love solving problems for their clients and they love showcasing their gifts and talents for the benefit of others. When you love what you do, it's a natural inclination to want to share it with other people. As an entrepreneur, it must be your goal to show your clients and prospects some love by not trying to "sell" to them; instead, show the value that you add to their lives and businesses by solving their problems. A successful entrepreneur knows how to show the love and uses their marketing efforts to build clients for life. Here are five ways that you can use your marketing efforts to show your clients some love:

1. Handwritten Notes - sending a handwritten note to an ideal prospect, previous client, or even a current client is a great way to show them that you love the value they add to your work and you love solving their problems. It's the personal touch, the fact that you've taken time out of your schedule to write a note to them that gets your TOMA - top of mind awareness. It is recommended that you send 3 to 5 handwritten notes each day. Handwritten notes should take the place of emails if you want to focus on building clients for life. Try this: Instead of allowing the business cards that you gather at networking events to sit in your office untouched for weeks and weeks at a time, create a system to send handwritten notes to those you've met so they remember you within in 48 hours of the initial contact. Be sure to have your own stationary created, to extend your brand positioning.

2. Irresistible Free Offers - your clients will know you love them every time you introduce a new irresistible free offer (IFO) for them. An IFO can be a tele-class, a webinar, an audio download, special report or a video tip where you add value for free, just because you love what you do and the value you add to the marketplace. An IFO is like the "pink spoon" at Baskin Robbins for your business. They give your ideal prospects a taste of what you offer to solve their problems and create a love affair that leaves them wanting the full sized solution. Of course it may go without saying, but be sure that your IFO has a call to action so they know how to extend their love affair.

3. Schedule a Client Appreciation Day or Night - schedule an opportunity to thank your clients virtually or in person. You can hold office hours where they can call you for a free laser coaching/consultation session of 5 minutes or you can get them all together and allow them to network with other clients and prospects that you are currently working with/connected to. People love to build relationships and create new partnerships and networks. So by opening your database to your ideal clients and prospects, you can help them to begin to build their own and they will love you for that. Additionally, with technology, if you have an account with one of the live streaming video sites, you can schedule a live broadcast and welcome your clients and prospects into your virtual event and share the love with them. When hosting a live client appreciation event, be sure to engage an event management team to give your event those special touches that leave clients and prospects ready to take their love to the next level.

4. Share Success Stories - everyone wants to be celebrated and loved and when you share the results and highlights that your ideal clients have gained in working with you, they will get some love from your prospects and website visitors that may need a product or service that they (your success story) offers. Highlighting others on your website is a great way to show the love and grow your client base at the same time. Remember social proof is a must if you want people to buy from you and success stories are the best way to show social proof.

5. Client of the Month feature in your e-zine - featuring a client in your e-zine each month is a great way to show them you love them and also celebrate a non-competing client and the products and services that they offer. This is different from a success story; this is a business spotlight and/or product highlight that helps to extend the reach that your client of the month has within their own business. This isn't about you; but you will gain clients for life when you show the love by highlighting their business to your database.

Your assignment:

Determine which way you will show your clients some love this week. You may select more than one if you'd like.

Create your plan of how you will get this done. List out each step that is necessary to get the task done this week. Can someone else help you? Always consider delegation to be sure the task doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

Be sure the task is completed by Friday so you can enjoy your weekend and get ready for next week's Incredible Factor Moment and Tip.

I love you!

Speak Their Language - Darnyelle A. Jervey

In today’s marketplace, many entrepreneurs struggle with consistently attracting their ideal clients using marketing systems and strategies. It’s believed that this challenge stems from a lack of taking the time to get clear about who your products and services were created for. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs start a business out of lack or desperation instead of with a clear plan and strategy. When this happens, those entrepreneurs will consistently find themselves behind the 8-ball in their businesses because they do not have a calculated method of attracting clients and growing their business.

Many believe that marketing is something you can do when you need to and that it can easily be done to produce results. Unfortunately, this is a big misconception in business. Marketing is essential; what I like to call oxygen for your business – without it your business will die because your ideal clients aren’t receiving information that suggests that you exist to solve their problem. To alleviate this challenge, I recommend that you create a detailed ideal client profile. In doing so, you will become crystal clear about whom you desire to work with and the problems they are experiencing. Your marketing materials will then speak to them in such a way that they will choose you as the solution to their problems. When you’ve taken the time to complete a client profile, you will find yourself ready to create compelling marketing materials that immediately speak the language that your ideal clients understand and take action as a result of.

Until you learn how to speak the language of your ideal clients, it will be like trying to call your scattered friends and family together for a meal using a dog whistle – they won’t hear you and as a result they won’t take action. But when you do learn to speak their language, the benefits to your business will include:

1. An influx of ideal clients who recognize the solution you offer to their problems. Remember, people purchase when the problem they have is causing pain and they want to alleviate the pain. They chose from people they know, like and trust who have proven to offer the exact solution they need. When your marketing materials clearly speak to your clients, you won’t have room enough to manage the requests they will submit for your services.

2. Referrals from your ideal clients who quickly become your unpaid sales force, sharing with everyone they know that you are exactly what is needed to solve a problem. When we have received great service, we can’t stop talking about it. If you are able to speak their language and successfully deliver exactly what they needed with results and benefits, your ideal clients will start telling everyone they know and they will all start seeking you out as the solution they also need to ease their pain.

3. Increased exposure, a sense of fulfillment and more income – okay this is really three benefits rolled into one. The key here is that when it’s clear that you are talking to a person who you can help, you get personal satisfaction. Your Incredible Factor is changing lives and solving problems, which leads to success stories that increase your exposure and more income. The value of the service you provide goes up with every ounce of clarity you represent in the marketplace.

So go ahead and speak up, they can’t hear you.

How to Attract a Consistent Flow of Ideal, High Paying Clients - Darnyelle A. Jervey

One of the major challenges facing today's service-based entrepreneur is creating a steady stream of ideal clients. In a vast marketplace where there has the potential to be hundreds of thousands of people who do what you do, it can be hard to figure out how to stand out from the crowd just so that potential clients can see what you have to offer. In an effort to offer a few valuable tips to aid service based entrepreneurs in attracting more ideal clients, allow me to share the following:

Clarify Your Ideal Client. The universal law of business says, "find the group of people who have the exact problem that you solve who are ready right now to pay for a solution to that problem." To attract more ideal clients, you have to clarify exactly who you help. It's not enough to have a target market, you must also have a niche and within that niche get crystal clear about the exact type of person, yes, one type of person that you are the perfect solution to the problems that they have. Ask yourself: 1. Who are they? 2. What are their problems? 3. What do they need right now to solve those problems? And how do I offer that solution? Then, you must ensure that you are directing your marketing efforts to the exact person who will benefit from the solution that you provide. Interestingly, when you do this, you will find that there are many people in that same situation that are now attracted to you as the solution to their problem.

Focus on the problem you solve, not your credentials. Honestly, people really could care less what degrees you have unless they need a doctor or a lawyer. People are more concerned about the transformation you provide. When you create marketing materials that clearly highlight that transformation, they will know without a doubt if you provide the solution they are searching for. Don't make your materials about you, speak their language and make everything about your ideal client. After all, one radio station that everyone listens to is WIIFM- What's In It For Me.

Give your products and packages names that demonstrate the problem you solve. When building a new program or creating a new service option, don't try to be cute with your title, instead focus on the problem you solve and name it that. If your new program will show people how to quit smoking in 10 days or less, call your new program How to Quit Smoking in 10 Days or Less not You Can Quit Smoking. See the difference? The first title is exactly what your ideal clients can expect when they register for the program.

Have a defined call to action. Here's where many entrepreneurs miss the mark. They offer great content, they illustrate value but they don't tell ideal clients what to do next. As a result, the phone doesn't ring, no one visits your website, you stay in a famine mode in your business. You always want any interaction with your ideal clients to include the next step, which is known as the call to action. Having a strong one will send ideal clients right to your door via the vehicle of your choosing.

Give them a reason to take action immediately. In the movie the Godfather, one of my favorite movie lines ever exists and it pertains to this final tip: "make them an offer they can't refuse." When your call to action is clear and strong and you create a sense of urgency in your offer, clients will take action and sign up for your products and services.

When you make these five quick tips a part of your daily business practices, you will see your ideal clients coming to you with consistent flow. Happy client attracting!

Get CLEAR for 2011 - Darnyelle A. Jervey - Author, Speaker, Coach

Here's your get this one before 2011 assignment:

1. Create a safe space in your home where you can get quiet and center yourself for at least 30 minutes to an hour. In this quiet space, breathe deeply and clear your mind from all the clutter - what you didn't do in 2010, what you wish you did differently in 2010, the relationships that ended, etc. Remember, it's time to stop giving your past permission to speak.

2. Leave your fears, your disappointments and your doubts behind you. Physically write them all down. Ask yourself, "What am I afraid of" until there's nothing left to write. Take a deep breath and review your list. You will hopefully be able to assess that there is no evidence to support those fears and that you have simply taken possesion of things that don't belong to you and internalized them until they got you stuck in your mess.

3. Evaluate your fears and replace them with statements that show confidence and conviction. Write each statement down in positive present tense.

4. Ask for what you REALLY want. Know the why, the true reason why you want it. REALLY personal Example: I want to be married not just for the sake of being married, but so that I can achieve my destiny. Don't get me wrong, I want all the perks that come with it but I also want to work, the challenges and triumphs. I want my soul/goal mate to take the journey with me. I don't want to arrive without him. Truthfully, I cannot do what I was created to do without my partner in my life. We have a destiny to fulfill, lives to change, people to empower and neither of us can do it alone. We need each other. He will be the true catalyst of destiny achievement and he will keep me inspired and focused through every leg of the journey as we travel to our destiny together.

5. Record your responses, thoughts, visions, reasons why, etc in a journal and begin to journal everyday for at least 15 minutes about what you see for yourself, what you want to accomplish, why you want it, why the world needs it and how you feel about it. Reflect in happiness. Cause your energy to positively shift around that which you want. And also record it on a vision board. I personally recommend you use a peg board so that as the vision changes, you can easily and effortlessly make modifications without the hassles of glue and poster board.

Make this a priority before January 1, 2011. Your next year depends on your clarity.

Upleveling Your Vision - Darnyelle A. Jervey - Author, Speaker, Coach

Today marks the last Monday in 2010. I woke up this morning, excited, grateful, energized and inspired. You see, I start each day in gratitude before visualizing the day I want. Today was no different, yet it was completely different. I am clear that something changed when I went to sleep last night; I woke up focused on happiness and joy and abundance and that led me to today's activities: updating my vision board, reading several chapters in A Happy Pocket Full of Money, starting my 2011 Mind Movie and visualizing what I would Master in 2011.

My vision board was created in 2008 and I hadn't made any adjustments to the vision since then but I had already achieved many of the items on there so it was necessary to get clear on my 2011 focuses. Also, I declaring some new focuses in 2011 and I had to make sure that they stood out on my board. Now that my board is updated, I have an even more renewed sense of vision and I am so excited about realizing EVERY thing on my vision board in 2011. What are you envisioning that you will master in 2011? Love, wealth, health, education, business growth...get clear and FOCUS - Follow One Course Until Success results....

Your assignment: uplevel your vision by updating your vision board to reflect the happiness, harmony and goals for your year of Mastery.

Weatherproofing Your Incredible Factor - Darnyelle A. Jervey - Author, Speaker, Business Coach

Yes, it's that time of year; its cold, there's sure to be lots of snow judging by the fact that it is so cold so early in December. People don't want to come out and play or network or listen to you talk about how great your products and services are at a local hotel or other meeting place when the roads are bad and they'd rather by cozying up to a cup of hot cocoa in their jammies. At this time of year, the only problem that people are interested in finding a solution to is how to stay warm without a ridiculously high heating bill! Yet, business is still getting done and people are still getting solutions to their problems.

So what does this mean for your business? It can mean trouble if you don't have a plan, a strategic plan, that includes service delivery options that create comfort for your ideal clients. If you offer a service - a coach, speaker, writer, consultant, financial planner/advisor, etc, your product line must be diversified. If the only way you can offer your product or service is face to face, unless you have a 4x4 to handle the weather that you may get depending upon where you live, your business will not be serving many in the coming months.

My personal recommendation is that you conduct a product and service gap analysis. What do you offer now as well as what can you offer in the near future to meet client needs without being harassed by weather conditions? Even if the most challenging weather condition you face is rain and wind, how can you keep your clients safe from the weather while servicing their needs and earning income to support your lifestyle and family? Perhaps you are like me and you coach others and you [unlike me] have always focused on face to face coaching because the breakthroughs are more robust and feeling your client's energy warms your heart, etc. Well, please don't mistake me, that is great. I, too, enjoy face to face coaching opportunities and explore them with my VIP Days, but I also have many other options to work with my clients, which also removes geographic limitations on my business. Ask yourself: how can you offer the same level of breakthrough experience when we are 20 inches deep in the white stuff? Perhaps diversifying your coaching package options to include video conferencing might be a solution. You can still see your client, they can still see you, you're in your home, they're in theirs; but, business is still being done and you are still using your Incredible Factor to solve their problems. And for the most part, video conferencing is F-R-E-E....
This is just one example of how taking the time to sit down and develop a strategy to diversify your product offerings and service delivery methods can increase your client count and ensure that your business goes on regardless of what is happening with the weather.
How else can you diversify your product and service offerings? Need help coming up with a robust strategy? Invest in a I'm Ready to Play Big Strategy Session with me and I will show you how to make this wintry selling season the best you've ever seen in your business.

Your assignment:
Inspect the Incredible: Complete a self-assessment of your current business portfolio and ask yourself the following questions:
1. Determine all of the services that you offer that may be affected by the weather.

2. What can you offer instead? What options can you create?

3. How can you leverage technology to continue your service delivery to your ideal clients? Webinars, teleseminars, video conferencing, etc. Develop a plan to add these options into your current packages.

4. How might creating a passive income product help your product service model?

5. If you have a Blackberry, are you put it to full use? How about offer Blackberry access to your private clients for on the spot coaching?

Once solutions are present, implement, implement, implement...that is what separates the business women from the hobby girls.

If you want a LIFT, You Must SHIFT - Darnyelle A. Jervey - Author, Speaker, Business Coach

"How to Use Your Incredible Factor to Lift Your Results By Shifting Your Reality."

Personal Responsibility. That's exactly what it took for me one year ago to achieve the success that I know my business was created for. I had to take complete ownership over the daily operations, the plan, the systems and the strategies that would bring me more joy, more clients, more income and more time for what I deem important. Dare I say it, I had to commit to implementation. After all that is the one thing that separates money makers from those who talk about wanting to make money.

Like many new entrepreneurs, I started my business out of love, because I love the empowerment of others, BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE WOMEN IN BUSINESS SUCCEED AND BUILD A LEGACY - but the reality was that I wasn't making any money when I opened its doors. So out of fear, I took a job. Can I really be real with you? I figured, "the mortgage and car payment must be made somehow, and since I've not yet figured out how to make that happen, I'll go back to work." It was hard after the income and success of Mary Kay to get a job. BUT LACK OF FOCUS AND CLARITY CREATES A SCARCITY MINDSET. Now, I believe that there is nothing wrong with launching a business while you still work a fulltime job. But I do believe that your job must become your fundraising opportunity and your mindset must be fixed on getting to your purpose - your reason why.

For the first year of my business, I was complacent - a client here, a speaking engagement there - it was all good. But then I looked at my paycheck and realized that it wasn't going to give me the personal fulfillment of serving people in a big way or the income to enjoy my service. I'm being real with you - money is necessary and if you've duped yourself into believing that all you need is enough to pay your bills, you need to SHIFT.

So in September 2009, I went to work in my business. I hired a high level business coach and joined several high level PAID mastermind groups. I hired a team so that I wasn't the only employee in my company. I shifted my mindset to say, I will give my business the same respect I was giving my employer. Now it was a job I loved, Running the Women's Business Center for the State of Delaware [The Center for Women's Entrepreneurship]- working with aspiring and new entrepreneurs every day to set up their businesses the right way - sound familiar - but it wasn't business on my own terms.

I realized that all that I need was within me and I could create the business that I longed for by creating a system. And I did. I created the Leverage Your Incredible Factor System by looking at what was working for me and using my marketing abilities to solidify a process to get and keep clients asking to work with me. I began sharing it with my clients while I also performed the steps and what happened? All of our businesses grew exponentially. I diversified my business model - Do you know that I booked 40 paid speaking at at least $3500? Do the math. Did you know that I clearly defined my business coaching program, increased my rates based on the value and results I was offering, immediately enrolled 10 private high level, high dollar coaching clients, started group coaching programs at varying income thresholds, began to write a new book - guaranteed to be a best seller, created ancillary products and I saw my business model and business plan more than quadruple.... And here we are today, December 1, 2010 where I am on the verge of helping you do the same.

Why am I sharing this with you? Well, I put in my notice at my job (Just over Broke) and effective in 2 weeks I'm going to run my already 6 figure business that I built in 11 months full time. I'm going to unveil everything that I did to everyone who will invest in me and themselves over the next few months with intesive workshops giving you the best that I've got. And this is happening all because of my shift in order to lift.

Trust me, I'm not bragging. I'm sharing honestly so that you can get the lift you deserve by shifting. YOU CANNOT DO IT ALONE. TRUST ME, I'VE TRIED. MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER FOR MY FREE PREVIEW CALL AND I WILL SHARE THE REST OF THE STORY AS WELL AS THE PRINCIPLES YOU MUST ENGAGE IN YOUR LIFE AND BUSINESS TO DO THE SAME.

An Interview with Darnyelle A. Jervey - Author, Speaker, Business Coach

How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be a Certified Business Coach and Mentor?

Honestly, in order for me to answer this question, I've got to share two defining moments with you because they led me directly to my purpose and destiny.

My first defining moment occurred when I was when I was 29 years old and miserable in my corporate career. You see, I had progressed in the company very quickly and by the time I was 25/26 I was a VP. But the job that I had always dreamed of had quickly become my nightmare. So I stepped down, I was only a VP for about 6 months because I wasn't ready to work that hard for someone else. So, I returned happily to AVP and was given a team in one of the customer service departments. That was the best thing they could have ever done for me because I realized my gift to empower and inspire. I turned a team of the "Bad News Bears" into Top performers in 3 months of working with them and they remained the Top Performing Team until the day I left the company. You see, even though I was enjoying working with the representatives, I'd drive to work and as soon as I entered the parking lot, I'd get a massive migraine. I'd come to the end of my rope and I knew that there had to be more for me. So I began to seek out other opportunities. In late 2001, I had been introduced to Mary Kay Cosmetics and in mid 2003 I had become a sales director with my own unit of 30 people. I liked Mary Kay but I lacked the fortitude to make it profitable for me until I made that non-negotiable decision in 2004 that I was going to learn the business and create a business that would allow me to leave my full-time job. Unfortunately, when I made the decision, my unit was dying and if I didn't do something quick I was about to lose my directorship.

After a few nights of worry and fear, instead of making excuses, I made a plan. In January 2005, I decided that I was going to give my Mary Kay business the same respect I had given my corporate career. In January 2005, I had 22 unit members but I didn't care because I had a renewed sense of purpose and a determination that wouldn't quit. And I was ready to do the work. By the time I quit my job in April, we had well over 50 unit members and in September of 2005, I was picking up my first Pink Cadillac. By the end of the next seminar year, we had well over 500 beauty consultants in our base unit.

I noticed that I wasn't the only person who worked a corporate job and wanted out. I unknowingly, began to devise a system to help others do the same thing and within one year I helped 5 women promote themselves to car driving sales directors in Mary Kay, while also going from the number 40 unit in my National area to the number 5 in 2005 and number 1 in 2006. We even won the #1 most improved director award for the entire state of Delaware and finished in the top 3 for the state.

But that wasn't the end of my story.

My second defining moment came in late 2007 after just finishing my second Pink Cadillac qualification. I had worked so hard to get my unit to that level and at the end of it, I should have been elated but I wasn't. I was frustrated, I was melancholy....I was no longer interested in being a Mary Kay top sales director. Not because there was something wrong with Mary Kay BUT because I knew that my God-given talents were not being fully utilized and I wanted to live Darnyelle's dream, not Mary Kay Ash's. The next morning after finishing the car, I prayed for direction because I desperately wanted out. I began to brainstorm on what I could do to get my passion and enthusiasm back. That night when I slept, I had a dream and in the dream, as clear as day I saw Incredible One Enterprises.

The next morning when I woke, I began my business plan to create an empowerment firm to help entrepreneurs with marketing, mindset and empowerment. You see, a function of my corporate job and my Mary Kay business had been professional speaking and life and business coaching, little did I know that those two positions had prepared me and led me directly to my destiny. I had been doing both for over 12 years in various forms. I began to create the systems that I had used over and over to quantum leap in my life and business. I had earned my MBA in Marketing while still in corporate, so I began to focus on how I could use my education and skill sets to shift the lives of many. I enrolled in a certified coaching program with Coach Training Alliance and through accelerated study; I began to coach others to Incredible success. I sent my Pink Cadillac back to the company in April 2008 and Incredible One Enterprises officially launch in June of the same year, after developing my programs and content. As a mentor and coach, I've made a commitment to teach you, guide you and transform you and your business.

I have made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs learn the marketing, mindset and empowerment strategies to define, leverage and unleash their Incredible Factor to enjoy a life full of more time, more income and more freedom. I am committed to using my coaching and mentorship programs, workshops, products, masterminds and VIP private coaching and consulting days to create multi-million dollar businesses for women.

Since then, I have worked with thousands of clients, spoken in front of countless groups, conducted monthly marketing, mindset and empowerment workshops all over the country, and created the Leverage Your Incredible Factor System; a proven 10 step system that teaches marketing, mindset and empowerment strategy to turn a service based passion into a profit.

What exactly is the Incredible Factor?
The Incredible Factor is your secret sauce; it is why others are drawn to your business. It is also known as your USP - unique selling proposition or how you stand out in the marketplace. Your Incredible Factor is about your signature business move because people need your gift. Without your Incredible Factor, the world will not be able to accomplish their big dreams and goals. It's why people want to do business with you over and over again. It's what makes your product and service the ONLY solution to their problem. It is a business idea or concept that can be used to serve others in a big way while creating a wealth stream for you and your family.

Unfortunately, many of us start businesses without the skills, strategies and solution that will allow our Incredible Factor to create significant wealth. My mission is to show you how to define, leverage and unleash your Incredible Factor for the world to benefit from your business in a big way.

Who are your clients exactly?
I work with professional women who are committed to serving others - coaches, authors, speakers, virtual assistants, event planners, consultants, personal trainers, etc who know that their secret sauce, signature move and products and services (Incredible Factor) changes lives. She is a previously (or soon to be) corporate un-employable business woman desperate for someone to show her how to make her business work. Her business has not yet crossed the $50,000 mark. She is working part-time in her business or just starting out, within the first couple of years in her business. She loves what she does but she needs to make more money, to serve more people in a big way. She needs marketing systems and backend systems and infrastructure. She needs to get clear on the exact client that her Incredible Factor is for. She is finally ready to SHIFT the way that she works in her business to produce the results that will change her life AND business. She is clear that she has an Incredible message, product and/or service to share with the world but she needs assistance in getting it out there in a big way to people who are ready to pay for the solution her Incredible Factor offers to their problem.

My ideal clients are highly motivated, passionate women entrepreneurs who know their passion, and they are very good at what they do yet they lack the foundational principles that will allow them to uncover and uproot the self-sabotaging mindsets, create compelling marketing materials and strategies and the empowerment to create a strong focus to accomplish their goals and create the life of their dreams. My ideal clients are ready to stop playing small. My clients are not afraid to say that they want to be paid for what they do and my clients, they want to be paid well while changing lives in a positive inspiring way. Divine purpose and money can work together - you can have both.

You may be an ideal business coaching/mentoring client for me if:

>>Your business is at least 1 year old
>>You desire to align your passion with profit
>>Your passion is service based (author, speaker, coach, ministry, consultant, virtual assistant, marketing specialist, caterer, event planner, personal trainers, real estate agents)
>>You have a vision to grow your business to 6 figures by implementing marketing systems and infrastructure
>>Growing your business is a priority for you
>>You are ready to do what is necessary to define and unleash your Incredible Factor (mindset, marketing, client attraction, strategies, empowerment and performance metrics that lead to BIG results)
>>You are ready, willing and able to make an investment in growing your business
>>You are serious about becoming the change you want to see in your business
>>You are enthusiastic about sharing your message with the world in a big way
>>You are finished making excuses and are instead ready to make plans
>>You are frustrated by your lack of paying clients and are open to strategies that work to attract your ideal clients
>>You are ready to go from working in your business to working on your business
>>You are great at what you do but you still need to master marketing and systems to profitze your business
>>You're sick and tired of throwing a noodle against the wall and seeing if it sticks in growing your business

How are you different from other "business coaches and mentors"?
Honestly I'm different from other coaches in many ways. I help people align their divine purpose to a business strategy that infuses mindset and empowerment coaching with marketing strategies, that in and of itself is different. My primary focus for my clients is helping them to leverage their Incredible Factor so that they can turn their serviced-based passion into a profit. Period. My coaching style and practice is focused on a unique blend of coaching, consulting and mentoring. My goal is to provide you with skills, strategies and solutions for your marketing, mindset and empowerment to define, leverage and unleash your Incredible Factor. I ONLY work with solo-preneurs and very small businesses. I do not coach in mid-size companies or major corporations and I do not desire to be an "everything to everybody" type of coach. I am clear on my skill sets and the value I offer to my clients. My clients (solo-preneur service based small businesses) get coached on all things that pertain to running a small business starting with mindset, systems, marketing, etc. I chose to focus so that you get the very best of me. My expertise is sound, undiluted and consistent for producing results for my clients while adding in humor, empowerment and compassion. I love what I do; I have my own coach and mentors and I have made an investment in myself and my business in order to show my clients how to do the same. I help my clients connect their "heart-set" with their mindset so that it produces great results. I am clear that as you eliminate fears, beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors you open yourself up to turn your passion into a profit, allowing you to show up in the world in a much bigger way.

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?
Because I am a high achieving go getter who does not make excuses and instead makes plans and implements them, I work best with people who would consider themselves the same. They are READY to get going and just need to know what to do to make it happen. My clients are ready to do anything to get to the results they crave.

My Incredible Factor coaching programs, workshops and products were created for people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired, extremely excited and DEAD SERIOUS about turning their passion into profit. They are done complaining and making excuses. They are ready to walk into their Incredibleness.

Think for just a moment about how your life will change if you have someone committed to teaching you step by step how to create massive and consistent action in your business. No more excuses, just non-negotiable decisions, a new way of thinking and complete support to achieve your BIG goal: to love what you do and to make more than enough to enjoy your life because your passion has produce profit.

By the way, I should also mention that I am allergic to whiners, excuse makers and complainers. I break out into a rash immediately. If you are not committed, you are not willing to do whatever it takes and if you aren't committed, I'm not the coach for you.

Are there any professions for which your coaching program may not work?
My time is very valuable to me; therefore, I am very selective in who I chose to work with as clients. If after getting acquainted with you, I do not feel we are a good fit, I will refer you to someone else. If I do not believe that you are truly suited for my programs or you won't get the results that you desire, I will tell you. It wouldn't be fair to do otherwise.

The Incredible Factor Programs are not for those who are financially struggling and cannot make an investment to work with me (at least not right away). People who are in financial crisis have problems trusting my recommendations and have historically not completed the work or made excuses as to why they couldn't get their assignments done (it could be because they are worried about money and operating from lack not abundance)

If this is you, know that it's okay but you are not ready to work with me. We've all had times of financial crisis at some point. Can I make three recommendations:
1. Keep your job and/or get a part-time job to create some positive cash flow before you call me. This will allow you to relax a little and take heed to the coaching and mentorship you will receive. Then you will be able to focus on the assignments and create the systems that will lead you to turning your passion into a profit.

2. Take advantage of all of the FREE Incredible Factor resources available to you over email. You can click here to register. The free information that I provide will get you on the right path of making your goals a reality for you until you're ready to work with me as a private coaching client.

3. Consider joining the Incredible Factor Coaching Club. At just $47/month after a 30-day FREE trial, it will get you primed to work with me. I'll be here when you are ready. Click here to register today.

Can I contact some of your former clients?
Absolutely! In fact, I strongly recommend you visit my Client Testimonials page on my website and reading all about the successes they've had by working with me. You may even find that you are drawn to one or more of them - perhaps because they've gotten a result you desire or because they do what you do or desire to do. After you've read through them, feel free to email them directly to ask them what they got from working with me.

In my "keeping it real" way, I simply share exactly what you can do to leverage your Incredible Factor and start making the money of your dreams.

Lesson #1 Passion and Profit Producing Mindsets
Your inability to produce profit in your business may be tied directly to your mindset about your business and money. If you are consistently giving your gifts away for free....it means you do not believe that people should pay you for your expertise. We will examine and discuss the mindset shifts that 6 and 7 figure earners have indoctrinated into their lives. These shifts are allowing them to cash in on their passion.
Lesson #2 Leverage Your Incredible Factor: The Confidence Chronicles
Interestingly enough, regardless of the level of expertise one holds in their chosen field, lack of confidence and belief in their gifts prevents them from operating their gifts like a business that will enable them to quit their job, earn more and have more time for the things that matter most. In this lesson, we delve into more mindset shifts that are ESSENTIAL as it relates to Creating with Consistent Confidence in your business to produce a profit that sustains you and your family. Also covered in this lesson are the fears, self-sabotaging beliefs and subconscious programming that prevents you from leveraging your Incredible Factor.
Lesson #3 Make a POWERFUL Shift in the way you work in your passion
More often than not, solopreneurs and small business owners are not focused on profit producing activities and as a result everything is suffering. When you learn how to shift to doing only what is important based on your stage in business, you will invite a shift that will lead to earning more each month. This lesson also explores delegating and outsourcing your business.
Lesson #4 Create Your Ideal Client Profile & Strategize Your HUG (Hot Undeniable Gift) for the marketplace)
In this lesson, I will teach you exactly how to find your ideal clients who are ready to purchase your solution to their pressing problem and pain point. I will breakdown in detail the 5 questions you must answer to be clear on who you serve. In this lesson we will also build your HUG (Hot Undeniable Gift) Your Incredible Factor and how to strategize your unique positioning within the marketplace by developing your compelling marketing message which will motivate prospective clients to work with you. You must learn what makes you unique, why you are the ONLY choice to solve their problem. We will spend time highlighting exactly what benefits and results you offer to your clients.
Lesson #5 Build an Authentic Profit Producing Brand
You are a brand. Period. You must become a Profit Producing Brand. If you do not create an authentic brand, not only will others not know you, but your HUG will go unused and the world will not be ready to go to their next level. I walk you through in detail the components of an authentic profit producing brand.
Lesson #6 Create Your Passion Plan & Portfolio
In this lesson, I show you how to create marketing materials that bring your ideal client to you. There's no need to beg; they will be asking you "When can we get started?" When you learn how to speak to your ideal client, they will be drawn to you like a moth to a flame...
Lesson #7 Create, Price and Package Your Products and Services
Right now, you have a product or service that is incredible. The problem is you've not learned how to present it to your ideal client in a manner that gets them to take note and make a purchase. In this lesson, we will take full inventory of your services, what you offer, what you know and we will turn them into irresistible programs, packages and systems that will make your ideal clients eager to work with you. We will also review your market positioning and discuss how to price your offerings so they sell themselves and get money deposited into your checking account on a daily basis.
Lesson #8 Perform Your Passion - getting where your clients are in an INCREDIBLY MASSIVE Way
People buy from those they know like and trust. I will show you how to maximize every opportunity to develop relationships and build clients for life. We will get you out where your clients are and minimize the busy work you do sitting in your office.
Lesson #9 The Keys to Closing An Incredible Sale - using this system, my clients are converting over 80% of prospects into paying clients!
You can market all day and all night but unless you know how to close the sale, it may be useless. I will provide you with step-by-step instruction that will help you make more prospects your paying clients. I hope you are ready to turn your passion into profit!
Lesson #10 Get Your Profit Producing Systems in Place
When you learn to systematize every aspect of your business, you will take the guess work out of what does and doesn't work to bring in new clients. Good systems run with little or no effort and your phone will ring frequently with new clients, allowing you to never have to worry about clients again. Additionally, outsourcing and delegating all work except for working with you clients and marketing to attract more clients is key if you want to experience growth and financial success. If your vision is only big enough that you can do EVERYTHING, you are playing small.

How quickly can I expect to see results?
Naturally, you results will be contingent on your determination, commitment level and implementation. That said, all of my clients report back to me within a few months (if that long) about the results they are seeing in their business. Which include increased confidence, more clarity of vision, identifying their ideal client, attracting more paying clients, booking new speaking engagements, creating new products and services, establishing systems, increasing event attendance, expanding their network, new strategic alliances, and much more. Again, you can see client testimonials here.

How can I make sure that I leverage my Incredible Factor and begin to increase my income?
Quite simply, do all of your assignments and field work. If you fully focus on leveraging your Incredible Factor you will see manifestation. By committing to the process and understanding that this is not a "get rich quick" scheme but a dedicated system to improving your business success and it can take time to first clear the ground and prepare the soil where you will plant all the seeds that when watered with work, positive attitude and commitment will produce a harvest so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.
