When your focus is on what's missing in your life, do you ever stopped to wander why in the world you can't find it?
I remember one time that I couldn't find the keys to my car. I mean I tore my home apart looking for those keys. I kept retracing my steps and trying to remember where I'd seen them last but I just couldn't find them. Late for a meeting, I finally conceded and grabbed my spare set to get out the door. As I drove to the meeting, my mind was preoccupied with my missing keys. I could barely focus on the drive and relaxing myself before the meeting because I was so wound up over those missing keys. Even once the meeting was over, immediately, my mind raced back to my missing keys and where I would look when I finally got back home. Needless to say, I did not find my keys that day or the next. It wasn't until I changed my focus and stopped operating from a place of confusion, frustration and lack that they appeared out of no where. Ever happened to you?
Why does that happen????!!!!
I believe it's because what ever you focus upon gets bigger - lack of money, relationship, health, in my case missing keys, etc - they all tend to stand out a little more when we focus on those things. For those who constantly say, "I'm broke," or "I can't find a good man," or better still my favorite 'I can't seem to get any peace," let me enlighten you: until your focus (mindset) switches from what you don't have or can't find, you will not welcome it into your experience. If we instead begin to focus on what we do have and take a stance of gratitude for what we currently have in our lives, we allow ourselves to open to the possiblity of welcoming into our lives what we really want.
It may sound crazy but it's true. Take relationships as an example, everyone knows that when you stop looking for Mr. Right or Ms. Perfect, they appear out of thin air...is it coincidence, NO!
Do you have a desire for living a life filled with passion, abundance, confidence and expectation...but somehow you can't find what it would take to make it a reality? It is my desire to unveil proven techniques to experience a life filled with each of these and more in my upcoming TeleSeminar Find Your PACE.
Sometimes you just have to change your vantage point to see that what you wanted and needed was there all the time.

Do you see what I see?
Although this song makes me think quickly about the Christmas favorite, it also helps to bring home the point I want to empower you with on this Walk it Out Wednesday.
"Until you can see with clarity and in living color the fulfilment of your dream, it will not begin to manifest in your life." Darnyelle A. Jervey
Vision is so important, it is so important in fact that the Bible in Proverbs says "without vision, the people will perish." When empowering people I talk a lot about walking based on what you believe and not what you see...I know this sounds contradictory based on the thought of "vision", but vision is an encapsulation of an intensely held belief transformed into a picture that tells the story of what one is expecting in their life. (Darnyelle's definition)
As I begin each day, it is the vision (what I believe) that solidifies in my heart the work I must do the manifest my dreams.
So let me encourage you this Walk it Out Wednesday to begin to see the vision you have for your life. 20 days into a new year and a new decade, this is the time to transform your life and move from mediocre to magnificent. With a few strategic steps, you can begin to encounter unexplained favor in your life, like that I've encountered since I started my company in 2007.
When you look over the goals you set for yourself this year...do you see what I see?
When you look at yourself in the mirror...do you see what I see?
When you are daydreaming at work...do you see what I see?
Here's what I see:
~Men and women who can do anything to which they put their mind.
~People using their favor and influence on behalf of YOUR vision.
~Words and actions of power that match the vision that you have for your life.
~People are ready to make significant change and experience a quantum leap in their life in business.
~People in full expectation that the vision in their heart will manifest with hard work, honesty and integrity.
If for some reason you do not see what I see, here's a few tips that may help you:
1. Get clear - clarity for the vision that you have will only come when you get in touch with your spirit in a quiet place without distractions and begin to visualize what it is you really want for your life.
2. FOCUS - there are a lot of distractions and people (the peanut gallery) that wants to interject their thoughts into your vision. Put on blinders and look not to the left or right but FOCUS on YOUR vision.
3. Write it down - a vision in your head is not nearly as powerful as a vision on paper. We know that what gets attended to gets done....writing it down shows a commitment to the vision and that helps to solidify the non-negotiable decision to work everyday in honor of the fulfilment of the vision.
When you see what I see, you will see yourself achieving your goals and manifesting your vision. Let's get eye to eye and connect.
Be Incredible,
Darnyelle

You are Closer Than You Think
As of Jan 13th, many have already had a setback in the new year. Many have given up and referred back to their old ways. Sure, some of you reading this are saying, "how can that be, it's only been 13 days?" But when you feel like everything around you is coming crashing down as a result of one word or act of discouragement, everything can change in an instant.
My purpose this morning is to edify you. I want to help you to see that you are closer than you think. I happen to subscribe to the belief that it is when you are close to the victory that all hell breaks loose. I believe that when you find yourself dangling between the good times and the bad times, you are on the verge of unleashing the Incredible into your life.
Mary Kay Ashe says, "You can never give up because you never know what meets you when you turn the next corner." And I agree with Mary Kay. I can recall a time in my life when I felt as if the air had been let out of my proverbial tires. I was at my wits end and I was ready to curl up and die. With the help of my mentor and coach, I centered myself, got to a quiet place and I began to remember why I was in the race in the first place. Disappointments and failures are a part of the process. Just ask anyone who has ever achieved anything, but they have tenacity and they didn't give up so that they could achieve their goal and heart's desire.
Oftentimes when it gets noisy, we can't hear our spirits talking to us and we fail to change our position to be able to hear again. If I am speaking to you today, change your position so that you can get clear. Remember, it is not over until you have the victory and you are closer than you think.

If Nothing Changes....
It's a New Year. Many of you have created massive lists of thought out ideas and plans on how 2010 will be your best year ever, yet you have not equipped yourself to achieve your goals because nothing has changed. Overall, your mindset is the same....Oliver Wendell Holmes said it best: "Once a mind has been expanded it should not return to the same place." Yet, if you have not done the work necessary to shift your mindset, nothing will change in the new year.
I did some research and I learned that approximately 45% of people set New Year's Resolutions and of those people, after 6 months approximately 12% are still holding fast and walking into their resolution. I asked myself why and I answered (scary I know - smile) "It's because people do things for show and fad but they do not prepare themselves for the reality of what they want to accomplish in their lives. It sounds cute, it sounds impressive or even having the best laid intentions without a mindset shift or adjustment is just words on a sheet of paper."
It is my desire that something changes in you. I want more than anything in this world for you to realize the Incredible within you. It is my desire that you resolve to be Incredible and I have a few tips that can help you to make a change so that everything changes.
DARNYELLE’S TIPS:
1. BE HONEST, REALISTIC AND AUTHENTIC
2. ENROLL GOD IN YOUR GOAL
3. MAKE A NON NEGOTIABLE DECISION AND COMMIT TO THE GOAL
4. DISCOVER THE REASON FOR THE NEEDED CHANGE – WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND WHY….IT’S EASIER TO KEEP
5. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE
6. DEVELOP A SENSE OF URGENCY
7. SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM A COACH
8. START A MASTERMIND GROUP, GET ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS
9. ESTABLISH A PLAN – WHAT GETS ATTENDED TO GETS DONE
10. FOCUS ON THE FOLLOW THROUGH
Remember if nothing changes, nothing changes….ask yourself
1. why are you making this resolution
2. what will I change to see this resolution come full circle
3. who will I enlist to help me remain accountable to my resolution
4. if there are no consequences for making this change, why make it?
5. what is my inspiration for this resolution now?
